EVENT DESCRIPTION

Block & Tackle - Talk in Circles , Win in Straight lines, is a high-energy, highly-confusing oratory showdown, designed to put your critical thinking, impromptu skills, charisma, wittiness and overall impact to the ultimate test. Participants will have imposed time limits and a problem statement , upon which they will have to speak for & against in a small period of time - according to the will of the judge. So, bring your A-game, charm the crowd, and make every moment count!

PROTOCOLS (RULES)

1. Each round lasts 2–3 minutes (fast-paced exchange, not speeches).
2. No phones or internet; only minimal written notes allowed.
3. No new arguments in the final 30 seconds — only summary or reinforcement.
4. Judging prioritizes responsiveness, clarity, logical consistency, and persuasion (not volume or length).
5. Surprise Rule : Forbidden Words ( will be explained at the event )
