EVENT DESCRIPTION

Recharge ’26 proudly presents JAM (Just A Minute). It is an exciting one-minute speaking challenge designed to test spontaneity, clarity and confidence. Participants will be given a random topic and must speak continuously for 60 seconds. This event enhances quick thinking, articulation skills, and stage presence. It’s not just about speaking it’s about staying composed under pressure and delivering impactful thoughts within a limited time.

PROTOCOLS (RULES)

1. Each participant will get 60 seconds to speak on a randomly assigned topic.
2. Participants must speak without:
    a. Repetition
    b. Hesitation
    c. Deviation from the topic
3.Exceeding the time limit will lead to disqualification.
4. 20 seconds prep is allowed.
5. Use of paper, mobile phones, or prompts is not allowed.
6. Respectful language must be maintained at all times.
6. The decision of the judges will be fInal and binding.
