ANTHAKSHARI

1. This is an individual event. No team participation or substitutions
allowed.
2. Participants must identify and begin singing within 10 seconds of their
turn.
3. Each participant must sing at least two complete lines of a valid song.
4. Participants may stop after two lines or continue singing if they wish.
5. The last letter of the final word sung becomes the starting letter for the
next participant’s song.
6. Songs must have correct lyrics and a proper start. Humming or unclear
words will not be accepted.
7. Repetition of songs already sung in the same round is not permitted.
8. Participants may be disqualified for exceeding the time limit, incorrect
lyrics, invalid song start, absence when called, or misconduct.
9. Participants must be attentive and ready for their turn when microphones
are passed.
10. Judges’ decisions on song validity, lyrics, and disputes will be final and
binding.
