Recharge ‘26 proudly presents Carrom: The Striker’s Shadow, a high-energy competitive carrom tournament designed to redefine traditional gameplay. This event blends skill, strategy, and controlled chaos through performance-based gameplay modifiers that activate with every point scored. Unlike conventional tournaments, players must adapt instantly as each successful pocket activates a dare that alters their opponent’s next move from playing with a non-dominant hand to executing rebound-only shots. To elevate the intensity, participants can earn bonus points through trick shots and consecutive pockets. Additionally, rules offer massive rewards or penalties, making every decision on the board a calculated gamble. Carrom is not just about skill. It’s about pressure handling, adaptability and bold strategic play.

PROTOCOLS (RULES)

1. Doubles event (maximum 2 players per team).
2. Standard carrom rules apply unless modified by event gameplay rules.
3. Tournament format (league/knockout) depends on the number of registrations.
4. Matches are time-bound and must finish within the allotted schedule.
5. Trick-shot bonuses are awarded for successful rebounds and consecutive pocket shots.
6. A dare is triggered when a player pockets two consecutive coins in the same turn (only once per turn)
7. The opposing team must randomly pick a dare chit; success earns bonus points, failure or refusal results in a penalty.
8. Participants must behave appropriately; malpractice or unsportsmanlike conduct leads to disqualification, and the organizers’ decision will be final.
